Food Drive At EPCHS To Benefit Evergreen Park Food Pantry

EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Students involved in Evergreen Park Community High School’s Student Government are planning an 11-day food drive to be held at the end of March.

Community donations will be accepted at the school’s main entrance during school hours from Monday, March 21 until Thursday, March 31. At the end of the month, all donations will be dropped off at the Village of Evergreen Park Food Pantry at 98th and Washtenaw in Evergreen Park.

Only non-perishable items will be accepted. Condiments, cake mixes, cookies, other snacks and sweet cereals are among the most requested items.

Non-food items, such as laundry detergent and toilet paper, will also be accepted.

In addition to the community, EPCHS students will also participate in the food drive. The four grade levels will compete against each other to see who can bring in the most items, and students will be entered into a raffle for various gift card prizes.

The winning class grade will receive a donation toward their class fund.
