EVERGREEN PARK, IL — A group of 22 Evergreen Park Community High School students were recognized for receiving the Mustang Pride Award at a breakfast in the school’s cafeteria the morning of Wednesday, May 15. 

Receiving the award for unusual achievement for both in and out of the classroom are Alina Alalna, Ryan Arethas, Jazmin Ayala, Alex Carmody, Ashton Gray, Brendan Holmes, JayLynn Kampstra, David Lucio, Joshua Lukacs, Yahaira Martinez-Liera, Saanvi Patel, Saniya Peat, Hakim Pillado, Samantha Ricks, Londyn Robinson-Gwin, Layla Ross, Rosebud Summers, Eli Swartz, Maya Thornton, Ben Williams, Heli Patel and Mauriya Wilson.  

Parents and guardians of the chosen students were invited to the ceremony in their honor. Sponsored by the principal, the students received a certificate of recognition, Mustang Pride t-shirt, and pen.
