Social Studies Department
-
There is no greater lifelong commitment to learning than that of being an American citizen. The Social Studies Department at EPCHS is dedicated to providing the foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary for being active, informed members of our local, state, and federal communities.
Historical events that have influenced our country and place in the world are analyzed and connections are made to current events that impact us all on a daily basis. The most critical job we undertake is providing students the means to be active participants on all levels of community. Students will explore elements of Human Geography, US History, Civics, Psychology, and the Legal System.
