Daily SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

October 15th

*Boys Bowling - There will be an informational meeting today @ 3pm in the cafeteria for any boys interested in trying out for the bowling team.

*Students, there is a Leadership meeting in the LRC at 3 pm today. If you are in Leadership you must attend. We will be discussing important information with regards to Anti-Bullying Week.

*FBLA, FBLA, Come one, come all, to the first Future Business Leaders of America meeting of the year, today in room 136.  We will discuss what FBLA is, does and answer any questions that you may have.  FBLA starts today in Mr.Pasek's room 136 after school.

*Your Mustang Monitor is now online!  Get the latest EP news at mustangmonitor.com!  Check your gmail and listen carefully to the announcements this week for opportunities to win some sweet prizes!  The more you log onto mustangmonitor.com the better your chances of winning

*Students, Snowball applications are still being accepted. Please pick up an application in the PPS office. If you have any questions or need information you can talk to Mrs. Dorgan. Don't forget that you can raise money to pay for Snowball by participating in the walk-a-thon on October 19th. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of

*The last meeting celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month will take place on Tuesday, October 16th. D.R.E.A.M. and international club will be hosting a Latin food contest. All are welcome to come and taste test different dishes. Also, there is still time to enter, stop by Señora Shields room to pick up a form.

*Attention all girls interested in joining the Girls Bowling Team.  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 17th at 3:00 in Room 132.  Anyone interested in joining must attend or see Coach Fundukian for more information.

*Last weekend the girls swept the Madden Oak Forest Invite.  Burke 1st Villamil 2nd, Martinez 4th Carpenter 8th and Walden 10th.  Boys award winners included Holifield, Farritor, and Richter.  SSC Conference-All Conference Burke 2nd Martinez 9th.  Girls took 2nd overall to all 3A competitors.  Boys top Finishers Holifield, Richter, f/s award winner-Danny Farritor, Fabian Llamas
