Tom Heniff

• Graduate, EPCHS Class of 1961
• Earned B.S. from University of Pittsburgh in 1966, followed by his Master Degree in Education from Indiana State University
• Educator for thirty four years, six at Lockport H.S. and 28 at District 218
• Wrestling coach for eighteen years, eleven years as a head coach that won two state championships, one second place, one third place, and one fourth place state trophies
• Wrestling official for thirty-eight years at high school, college and international levels, officiating sixteen ISHA state championships, three Big 10 championships, 3 NCAA Division II & III Championships, two Olympic Trials, and twelve USA Wrestling Open Championships
• Inducted into the Illinois Wrestling Coaches & Officials Association Hall of Fame in 1982
• Selected as “National Wrestling Official of the Year” 2003 by the National High School Association
