Scholarship Opportunities

Our House Wealth Advisors is offering a $500 scholarship, 2-week paid internship, along with mentoring throughout college and beyond to female high school seniors. 

To apply, please write a one-page essay on the topic of: Why you want to study business or finance.  Include how you plan on using your degree after college, what impact a college degree will have on your future, how having a mentor will help you achieve your goals, and how you can help other woman and girls pursue their academic goals in the future as a result of being a scholarship recipient.

All completed essays must be turned in to Ms. Durkin in the Counseling Office.

 

Connext Go Fund Yourself Scholarship

Deadline August 31

For: students 16 years of age or older.  Students must write an original essay of 250 words or less that addresses the following question: "What's the most unique way you found to pay for school before applying for student loans?"

Consolidated Food Service Scholarship

Deadline: June 15

For: High school senior who will be majoring in a field related to culinary arts or hospitality.  Students must submit a short online application form including contact information, school you will be attending, intended major, and an essay of up to 500 words describing the applicant's interest in culinary arts or the hospitality industry.

Award Amount: $500

$15,000 Six Star Campus Scholarship

Deadline: April 30

For: High school senior planning to attend a post-secondary institution starting in the Fall (18 to 22 years of age).  Minimum of 3.0 GPA and must demonstration leadership on campus and excels as the “overall student”

For: High school seniors.  Students must write an essay of 400 to 500 words answering the question listed on the Rover website.

Abbott & Fenner Scholarship

For: all high school juniors & seniors.  There is an 500-1000 word essay on the following prompt: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.
