Our House Wealth Advisors Scholarship

Deadline: April 1, 2020

For: Female high school seniors.   To apply, please write a one-page essay on the topic of: Why you want to study business or finance.  Include how you plan on using your degree after college, what impact a college degree will have on your future, how having a mentor will help you achieve your goals, and how you can help other woman and girls pursue their academic goals in the future as a result of being a scholarship recipient.

Award amount: a $500 scholarship, 2-week paid internship, along with mentoring throughout college and beyond.

The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois

Deadline: April 3, 2020

For: High school seniors who are interested in teaching profession.  Scholars must agree to

teach for five years in a designated low-income or low-performing Illinois school.

Award amount: $23,000

The National Co-Op Scholarship Program

Deadline: February 15, 2020

For: High school seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or better who have been accepted and are planning to attend one of the WACE Partner College and Universities. Those institutions are: Clarkson University, Drexel University, Johnson & Wales University, Merrimack College, Rochester Institute of Technology, State University of New York-Oswego, University of Toledo, University of Cincinnati, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Award amount: $4,200

For: High school seniors who will be attending Cosmetology school after graduation from high school

Burger King Scholars Award

Deadline: When 50,000 applications have been submitted

For: High school seniors who have a GPA 2.5 or higher, and must work part-time an average of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Denny’s “Hungry for Education” Scholarship Awards

For: High school students.   Awards deserving students with scholarships for their ideas to help Denny's efforts to fight childhood hunger.

For:  High School seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA.  Sparkling Ice is looking for fun and unique candidates who are not afraid to be themselves.

The John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award

Deadline: January 17, 2020

For: High school students who are nominated by a teacher will have to submit a 1,000 word essay on the courage of an elected US official.

Hacer National Scholarship

Deadline: February 5, 2020

For: High school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA with at least one parent of Hispanic heritage

Paramount Tall Club of Chicago Scholarship

For:  High School seniors who will be attending a 2 or 4 year college in the fall of 2020 and meet the height requirement.  The minimum height requirements are 5’10” for females and 6’2” for males.
