As I knew I was going into a field that isn't high paying, I very much so did not want to come out with many student loans. The scholarship from EPCHS certainly helped me with that goal!How did EPCHS help to get you where you are today?: The many fantastic teachers and staff at EPCHS helped me reach my goal of going into education; I felt prepared my freshman year at Illinois State because of the honors and AP classes I took at EPCHS. Being involved in many extracurricular activities taught me how to balance my academics with outside activities.Favorite memories or teachers from EPCHS?: My favorite memories include being in color guard and the musicals; though busy, I made lifelong friendships through these programs and still think back fondly on those memories today.Anything else you'd like to add: Every senior, take the time to apply for this scholarship!
