Summer Programs for High School students


The UIC Chance Program is hosting a STEM Academy from June 24 – July 26 with tracks in Engineering or Computer Science for members of the Class of 2020 with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.  For more information & to apply visit: .  Space is limited within both programs.


Saint Xavier Summer Programs:

Summer Logic Dual Credit Course
June 3-July 3, 2019, 12:30-3:15 p.m. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
(grades 11th and 12th)
Be introduced to the study of reasoning, while earning college credit. Learn how to identify arguments and assess a good or bad argument through lecture by our faculty and collaborative group work.


Intro to Speech-Language Pathology Dual Credit Course
July 8-17, 2019, 9-11 a.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
(high school students)
Earn college credit and learn about speech-language pathology by exploring tools that are used for treatments and visiting Saint Xavier's Ludden Speech and Language Clinic.


Intro to Nursing Dual Credit Course
July 8-18, 2019, 9-11 a.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
(high school students)
Learn from real-world nursing faculty and tour SXU's innovative simulation labs, while earning college credit.

Lewis University is excited to offer incoming high school sophomores through incoming juniors at Lewis with an intensive 4-week instruction program in Russian. Your students will earn 3 university credits for your participation; no tuition costs required.  Space is limited.
